About the Scholarship for OFID Scholarship
OFID stands for OPEC-Fund for International Development. The scholarship is funded by member countries of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries(OPEC).
Benefits of the Scholarship
The scholarship covers;
*The tuition fees, including any supplementary examination fees, as may be required by the academic institution, will be paid by OFID directly to the academic institution.
*Health insurance will be paid by the institution’s standard medical scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship
These are a few of the criteria for the scholarship
- *Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 rating system or its equivalent
- *Must be between the ages of 23-32 at the time of submitting your application
- *Must have obtained or be on the verge of completing their undergraduate degree with a Baccalaureate from an accredited college or university or its equivalent

- *A completed online application form
- *A scanned copy of the applicant’s passport
- *A scanned copy of the last university degree
