Murdoch University RTP Stipend Scholarship Details
The Murdoch University RTP Stipend Scholarship 2027, funded by the Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP), offers an exceptional opportunity for high-achieving candidates to conduct cutting-edge research with full financial support.
The Australian Government provides funding to eligible HEPs through the RTP to support their training of domestic and overseas students undertaking research doctorate and research master’s degrees.
The Graduate Research Office of the university is pleased to advise that the 2027 scholarship round is now open. Scholarships are awarded on academic merit, research experience, and/or potential.

Eligibility Requirements for Murdoch University RTP Stipend Scholarship 2027
To be considered for the Murdoch University RTP Stipend Scholarship, you must:
- be an international candidate (non-Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent resident).
- meet Murdoch University HDR admission requirements by holding:
- A First Class Honours degree (H1 or H2A equivalent), OR
- A Master’s degree with a significant research thesis component.
- be enrolled or accepted for full-time enrolment in an eligible Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program at Murdoch University.
- demonstrate strong academic merit, relevant research output, and alignment with Murdoch’s key research priority areas.
