HOW TO APPLY TO SOUTH WEST GAUTENG TVET COLLEGE
if you want to apply to SWGC follow the procedure below;
- The applicant must take a Career Guidance or Placement Test.
- Fill out the online application form, it’s compulsory to answer all questions.
- You will receive a student number ( this is not an indication that you have been accepted).
- Log in with the student number and PIN you create (Keep login details safe).
- Accept student terms and conditions and code of conduct.
- Upload the necessary documents to the portal.
- Carefully select a course or programme you are applying for and the campus it is offered.
- The college will process the application and inform you of the outcome declined/accepted.
- The applicant will go through the registration process.
- Collection of books, student card and class commence.

REGISTRATION PROCESS TO SWGC
- Log in using your student number and pin (student portal).
- Click on Registration
- Click on ‘I accept rules and regulations’ before you can continue.
- Click Submit Registration.
- Subject selection Click on save.
- Choice of study (full-time or part-time) Remember to ‘Save/Accept’.
- Summary of cost and subject selection Save/Accept.
- Print a proof of registration (pdf), sign and submit it to the campus.
