Université de Montréal (UdeM), one of Canada’s top universities, is committed to encouraging academic excellence and assisting students in pursuing their educational goals. Every year, more than 7,000 Canadian citizens and permanent residents enrol at UdeM. The institution provides a variety of scholarships and financing possibilities to help students out financially.
Universite de Montreal Scholarships
The purpose of University of Montréal’s founding was to provide higher education. It has developed into a societal institution over the period of more than 135 years. Scholarships that waive tuition are known as UdeM Scholarships.
All international students are welcome to submit an application. These scholarships are offered for studies at the undergraduate, master’s, and PhD levels. The maximum annual award from the Montréal University Scholarships is $27,300.

Entrance Scholarships
Outstanding students entering undergraduate programmes are eligible for entrance scholarships from UdeM. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence, potential for leadership, and extracurricular participation. Eligibility Criteria
You must satisfy the following requirements to be eligible for the University of Montreal Scholarships for International Students.
1. Must be foreign student. Ineligible are Canadian citizens.
2. Must have a solid command of English
3. Candidates must be full-time students in a programme of study.
4. Candidates must not be receiving benefits from another type of tuition fee exemption. For instance, this form of exemption is already available to students who speak French and Belgian Francophone.
5. Secondary High School Graduation is a Requirement for the Bachelor’s Degree Programme.
6. Doctorate programmes require a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree, respectively, and both are necessary for admission.
7. You need a study permission, but you cannot be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of the country.
For the duration of their studies at Université de Montréal, applicants must be engaged full-time in a study programme.
Scholarship Coverage
There are three levels of scholarships offered by UdeM Scholarship in Canada. According to the candidate’s academic record, the scholarship is given.
1. Bachelor’s Degree
Tuition expenses are calculated at $23,662 annually. Academic records are taken into account when awarding the scholarship.
2. Master’s Degree
Tuition (45 Credits) is applied at a rate of $27,300 per year. $9,420 each year (three sessions, or 45 credits), or $3,140 per session, or 15 credits.
3. Ph.D. programme
Tuition (45 Credits) is applied at a rate of $24,300 per year. Throughout the course of your studies, you will pay $19,339 each year (3 sessions, or 45 credits), or $6,546 per session (15 credits).
